 Thank you for visiting our site. The Breathe for Britt Foundation is a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2008 by Brian Kane in memory of his Goddaughter, Brittany F. Braun.

We are picking up where Brittany left off. Our mission is to provide families affected by cystic fibrosis with a break from their daily challeneges and raise awareness about CF.

 We have recently lost two irreplaceable members of the Breathe for Britt family. Brian Kane, BFB co-founder, executive director, and Brittany’s godfather passed away in February. In May, we said goodbye to co-founder and vice chairperson Bekah Frucht. Both of these amazing people are missed immensely.

 Although their absence will always be felt, Brian’s mission of helping those affected by cystic fibrosis will continue and the Breathe for Britt Foundation will carry on with his vision. The foundation will remain a resource to those with CF, and will strive to now honor three incredible spirits: Brittany, Brian and Bekah. **Click here for a glimpse of the many lives Brian touched. Matthew's Gimmie-A-Break! Day

 Matthew’s Gimmie-A-Break! Experience started over the summer with weekly guitar lessons at the School of Rock and a tour of WBAB/WBLI studios. His BFB rockstar adventure concluded  as he performed a Michael Jackson set with SOR at Mulcahy's in Wantagh  in January. He ROCKED it on stage- go Matthew!

C.A.L.I.B.E.R. Hosts Talent show for BFB

 Adelphi University’s community service organization C.A.L.I.B.E.R hosted their annual talent show on November 14th 2012. For the fourth consecutive year, C.A.L.I.B.E.R. chose to donate proceeds from the show to the Breathe for Britt Foundation. It was a great event and BFB is so appreciative of this wonderful organization’s continued support!
